Beauty…where does it live?

In studies done at the University College London, it was shown that when people experienced looking at things they rated beautiful, or listened to beautiful music a consistent part of the brain, the orbito medial prefrontal cortex, became very active.  If the main activity of experiencing beauty resides in the prefrontal cortex, how are you limiting your perception of beauty when you favor your fear center located in the limbic brain which is in the center of the skull?  Deep breathing, meditation, healthy fat-rich foods, and positive thoughts can help exercise the prefrontal cortex.  How can you take yourself out of fight-or-flight today so you can experience more beauty?
