Neurosculpting Yoga Get Brainy and Bendy

January 12 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm MST

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, repeating until January 19, 2019

Cyndi Morris will spend 45 minutes talking about the brain and the benefits of movement for optimum brain function. Learn ways to calm an overactive stressed out brain.
Gain a deeper understanding about the relationship between movement and how it benefits the brain, and discuss how we get stuck in patterns of immobility.
Then enjoy the 5 Step Neurosculpting Yoga experience. Moving the body while noticing the minds limiting storylines, negative thought patterns and even old familiar fears, worries, is a strong catalyst for real change. We will spend some time noticing how these show up in our body.  Movement meditation is a powerful tool that we can use over and over again to change for good the automatic response to stress and worry. It sounds easy, it’s not! but it is a powerful tool for empowering yourself every time life feels overwhelming, with this practice you will get very good at self empowerment.
Begin 2019 with tools to navigate life’s emotional rollercoaster.
10-12 Saturday January 12 and January 19.  New YEAR SPECIAL $60 for both sessions.

Cyndi Morris

I have been gathering groups of people together to get fit and have fun, since I was a new mom. Creating a safe space for adults, young adults and children to play. My own childhood fitness story wasn’t much fun and I wanted a different experience for my young daughters. Coaching my kids soccer games and leading children’s groups, naturally transitioned into facilitating play groups for parents as I connected with other parents who were also looking for ways to stay fit. I guided aerobics classes, jogging, biking or whatever activity sounded fun. Discovering yoga made me aware as yoga does that my mind needed some help slowing down. My yoga practice thrived but accessible meditation eluded me even though it was exactly what I needed to quiet my critical mind never feeling adequate even through success.
